Job Summary:

About the Role:

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems using Java technologies;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features;
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure high-quality code and meet project deadlines;
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies;
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 8-15 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java technologies;
  • Advanced knowledge of Java programming languages, including Java 8 and later versions;
  • Experience with web application development, including RESTful APIs, servlets, and JSPs;
  • Familiarity with database management systems, including DB2, Oracle, and Sybase;
  • Knowledge of Unix and scripting, including shell and Perl;
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git and Jenkins;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines;
