Job Title: Data Insight Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data insight specialist to join our team. As a senior data warehouse analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, principles, and methodologies. They will be able to translate business requirements into clear specifications for data warehouse development and work closely with developers to design and implement logical and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Design and develop advanced data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract meaningful data from large datasets.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless integration with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining data dictionaries and documentation to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, with 3-5 years as a senior data analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets across various database platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
