We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead the design and implementation of data load processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python/PySpark.

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Develop high-quality code in Python and PySpark for data processing and analysis.
  • Leverage SQL Server and database development skills to create robust data warehouses and data marts.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines for improved performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure Cloud data environments.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in data engineering or analytics.
  • Extensive expertise in designing and implementing data load processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python/PySpark.
  • Proficiency in standard file formats and markup language technology such as JSON, XML, XSLT.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing principles and design.
