Cloud Solutions Architect

The role of the Cloud Solutions Architect involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our organization. This entails leading the blueprint design process, offering thought leadership and engineering expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of cloud adoption plans and cloud application designs.
  • Support the implementation of cloud-based solutions throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols throughout the design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, developing cloud solutions, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with infrastructure architecture, cloud applications to infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, Terraform for automation and tooling.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Tooling, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Terraform, Ansible, and other related tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the financial services industry, understanding of the role of custodial and consumer banks.
  • Experience managing sensitive financial data.
  • Experience with VMware, vSAN, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, NSX, SDN, etc.
