Job Title: Wintel Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Wintel Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and WSUS. You should also have experience with disk and storage management, file and print server administration, terminal services, RAID administration, and NTFS permissions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and WSUS
  • Manage disk and storage, file and print servers, terminal services, RAID, and NTFS permissions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of all systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration
  • ITIL certification
  • OEM certification in minimum one technology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Azure AD and VMware
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows failover Cluster installation and configuration
  • Performance fine-tuning on OS level
  • Server RAID configurations
  • File Server along with NTFS permissions
  • Print Server
  • FTP & SFTP services
  • Good writing skills for technical documentation and reports
