Senior Motion Graphics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motion Graphics Specialist with a strong background in sports broadcast design to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and animate custom motion graphics for live sports broadcasts, including show opens, transitions, and bumpers, on-screen statistics, odds, and race data visualizations, lower thirds, title cards, and branded broadcast elements.
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and sports analysts to translate racing data and narratives into compelling visuals.
  • Develop graphics templates for fast turnaround and live updates during sports events.
  • Evaluate brand guidelines and network broadcast standards to ensure compliance.
  • Troubleshoot graphics in live broadcast environments and support technical integration with real-time graphics systems.
  • Maintain a library of reusable templates, assets, and branded elements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, motion design tools, and sports coverage formats.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, preferably within sports broadcasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with real-time broadcast graphics platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong grasp of sports design aesthetics, particularly horse racing data (odds, timings, jockey statistics, race cards).
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, pacing, and motion design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with rapid turnaround.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showcasing high-quality motion graphics work, ideally in live or sports television.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software.
  • Understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of coding languages (JavaScript, Python).
