Technical Leader for Software Development Teams

We are seeking an experienced leader to define the technical roadmap for our software development teams and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards, modernization priorities, and cloud-first solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with reference architecture, enterprise data standards, and modernization priorities
  • Pave the way for autonomous delivery by removing technology blockers, decoupling applications, and streamlining processes
  • Plan, define, and design solutions that meet business needs, ensuring sound architectural decisions
  • Work with chapter leads to define and forecast technical capability requirements, supporting implementation of practices, tooling, and training
  • Drive operational excellence and support teams in charge of mission-critical production services with diverse stakeholders and complex dependencies
  • Eliminate technical debt and associated impacts, working with product owners to reduce it over time
  • Ensure delivery within funding allocation, actively managing and mitigating delivery and delivered risk
  • Accountable for the development, performance management, and career progression of technology roles
Requirements:
  • Experience in defining technical roadmaps and ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards and modernization priorities
  • Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems, microservices, and rest API integration
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS large-scale data warehouse implementations
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI applications and their impact on software engineering processes
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and a daily user of AI coding assistants

Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems. Proficient in agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation from ideation to prototype to pilot to product.
