Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Cognos Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data models using IBM Cognos Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Data Models and Reports: Utilize your expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager) to create accurate and efficient data models and reports.
  • Data Source Management: Ensure that data is sourced from Cognos model (data mart, datasets) and manage the associated packages in Cognos Framework Manager.
  • SQL Skills: Possess strong SQL knowledge and experience with data warehousing concepts, including writing, debugging, and cleaning code.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Development: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, jobs, schedules, and data models using IBM Cognos Analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • IBM Cognos Analytics: Strong proficiency in Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, and Framework Manager.
  • SQL Knowledge: Experience with writing, debugging, and cleaning SQL code.
  • Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Certification: Certified in IBM Cognos Analytics or related field.
