About the Role
The AFT Inbound Foundations and Routing team (IBFR) is a critical component of Amazon's logistics infrastructure, responsible for building core software components that orchestrate the movement of inventory within a warehouse and interface with sortation and SCOT systems. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that support the growth and expansion of Amazon's global operations.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include contributing to the design and development of new software systems, working closely with operations staff in Amazon fulfillment centers worldwide, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of existing systems. To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience and proficiency in at least one software programming language. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.

Requirements
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will also need to have experience with at least one software programming language and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software systems.
