Job Summary:

The Flowserve team is seeking a talented IT Business Systems Analyst to join its team of Windchill experts. As a key member of the PLM team, you will be responsible for addressing technical and functional questions, gathering requirements, performing data migrations, resolving defects, and providing second-level support for the Windchill system, with a focus on integrations with other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business users and system experts to gather requirements for Windchill interfaces, transforming those requirements into system configuration and design.
  • Utilize in-depth PLM application and process knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Document functional specifications, system design, test plans, test scripts, and results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand application architecture, support development and deployment of PLM applications and functionality, and identify and resolve system issues.
  • Perform data migrations and loads to Windchill environments, including loading data from files.
  • Work closely with other system teams to design and implement integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Flowserve teams to coordinate projects and enhancements, test software, and troubleshoot software issues.
  • Work closely with deployment and system documentation teams to properly document and deploy systems and enhancements, including training requirements.
  • Consult on integration and conversion activities, recommending redesign or redevelopment of applications where appropriate.
  • Resolve application support issues that require in-depth analysis.
  • Maintain adherence to development team requirements, maintenance, and QA standards.
  • Coordinate development work (including QA) around project release schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline with an IT focus.
  • 3+ years of experience in Windchill migration or implementation or a similar role with responsibilities working with the business to gather business requirements and translating requirements to functional specifications.
  • Good knowledge of at least one ERP system, particularly SAP, Oracle, or Great Plains.
  • Experience performing data migrations and loading data to Windchill from files.
  • Good functional knowledge of Windchill PLM, including experience with various object types, workflow processes, and integration tools ESI and ERP Connector.
  • Experience and knowledge with definition of user stories with acceptance criteria and building of test cases, including end-user training.
  • Basic SQL programming background.
  • Basic Java programming background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and effective collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Able to multi-task in high-pressure, time-constrained situations and influence when and where appropriate.

Preferences:

Familiarity with engineering/CAD control processes and order documentation requirements. Experience with the Windchill bulk migrator toolset. Familiarity with SharePoint, proficiency in the MS Office product suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Basic understanding of MS Project and MS Visio is preferred. Experience working in or supporting multiple applications simultaneously. Experience working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment. Strong comprehension of UI and User Experience components.
