Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of secure cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud security architecture, application security vulnerabilities, and DevSecOps practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud configurations, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. They will also work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud configurations, including network security groups, IAM roles, and encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into the SDLC, including code reviews and threat modeling.
  • Develop and maintain secure coding standards and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security controls.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud security architecture and application security vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, container scanning, and infrastructure scanning.
  • Experience with cloud security services, including AWS IAM, VPC, KMS, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
