- Participate in daily operations to support the business objectives.
- Optimize database performance through expert SQL call management.
- Collaborate with senior management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend solutions.
- Proficient in SQL and stored routines, with experience working with HA Proxy, ProxySQL or MaxScale.
- Working knowledge of AWS database technologies like Aurora, RDS.
- Maintain effective relationships with technology teams, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor key metrics for day-to-day performance and troubleshoot data and database issues.
- Minimum 4 years of MySQL management experience required.
- Experience in configuring HA and clustering solutions, large-scale MySQL deployments, and sharding architecture.
- Ability to work with Linux/Unix based OS environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and professional skills.
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach.
