System Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

  • As a System Engineer, you will collaborate with clients to gather business and technical requirements for real-time monitoring and control of plant floor operations.
  • You will configure, deploy, and optimize industrial SCADA/HMI systems using Ignition platform.
  • Seamless integration of industrial devices such as PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), ERP systems, MES platforms, and third-party databases is crucial.
  • Advise clients on best practices for system implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Deliver end-user training to client teams on how to operate, configure, and maintain industrial systems.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience working with industrial SCADA, HMI, or MES platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation, including system design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in consulting environment or working directly with clients on industrial automation projects is highly preferred.
