Eximietas Design Seeks a Senior Digital Test Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Test Architect to contribute to our dynamic team.

About the Role

The Senior Digital Test Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring the testability and manufacturability of our integrated circuits (ICs). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the design, verification, and test teams to develop and implement digital test architectures that optimize test coverage and minimize test time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop digital test architectures and methodologies for complex digital designs.
  • Define and implement scan insertion, ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation), and BIST (Built-In Self-Test) structures.
  • Perform digital test simulations and analyses to ensure comprehensive test coverage and fault detection.
  • Collaborate with design and verification teams to incorporate digital test requirements early in the design cycle.
  • Work closely with the test engineering team to develop and debug test patterns for production testing.
  • Develop and maintain digital test scripts and tools to automate digital test tasks and improve productivity.
  • Support silicon bring-up and debug efforts by analyzing test results and diagnosing digital test-related issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in digital test methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in digital test architecture.
  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with digital test techniques such as scan insertion, ATPG, BIST, and fault simulation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python for automation.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for digital test, such as Synopsys DFT Compiler, Mentor Tessent, or Cadence Encounter Test.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Prior experience in ASIC or FPGA design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal digital test techniques is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of digital design concepts and methodologies.
