Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate monthly and YTD P&L information and performance analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate business reports in compliance with the reporting calendar
  • Develop and enhance internal reporting packages
  • Present complex financial issues in a simple, customer-friendly manner
  • Reduce monthly reporting cycle time and implement process improvements
  • Standardize reporting policies with headquarters and General Manager India
  • Develop key performance indicator reporting and propose value-added changes
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis leveraging the finance network and available information

Cost Controlling & Compliance:

  • Manage manufacturing (plant) cost controlling and reporting
  • Identify improvement areas and establish clear processes
  • Maintain close relationships with all departments to ensure financial information accuracy
  • Lead complex initiatives and manage multiple priorities
  • Provide annual treasury forecasts and monthly updates
  • Manage annual audits with local audit companies
  • Ensure tax compliance
  • Assume roles of Regional Compliance Delegate, Regional Global Workplace Manager, and Regional IT Manager in coordination with IT HQ teams

Strategic & Operational Support:

  • Support company's Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Short Range Outlook (SRO), Demand Firming, Fixed Cost, and other estimating processes
  • Coordinate IT services and solutions with HQ
  • Coordinate PMO and transformation initiatives with HQ
  • Act as the regional delegate for compliance, corporate governance, and legal coordination with the Global CFO
  • Coordinate Global Workplace Services with HQ

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA in Finance, Economics and/or Accounting (MBA preferred)
  • Min 10 years combined experience in Controlling/Reporting and FP&A, preferably in a multinational company and some of that time in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP (preferred)
  • Accountancy expertise
  • Indian Tax expertise
  • Manufacturing Cost Control Knowledge
