Content Strategist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist to develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that drive learner acquisition, conversion, and retention.

The ideal candidate will create engaging copy for landing pages, sales funnels, lead generation campaigns, course descriptions, curriculum outlines, educational content, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and learner acquisition goals
  • Create conversion-focused copy for landing pages, sales funnels, and lead generation campaigns
  • Craft compelling course descriptions, curriculum outlines, and educational content that drives enrollment
  • Produce high-quality white papers, case studies, and thought leadership content to establish industry authority
  • Design high-converting email sequences, newsletters, and nurture campaigns
  • Write persuasive ad scripts for video, display, and social media campaigns with proven ROI
  • Create scripts for educational videos, webinars, and promotional content
  • Develop course marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and sales collateral
  • Write compelling testimonials, success stories, and case study narratives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional content writing/copywriting experience in EdTech, digital marketing, or skill training industry
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
  • Portfolio requirement: Must demonstrate measurable results (conversion rates, engagement metrics, campaign performance)
  • SEO: Basics of technical SEO knowledge, schema markup, keyword research, keyword cluster, and search intent optimization
  • Marketing Technology: Experience with CMS (WordPress, HubSpot), email platforms, and marketing automation tools
