Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Platform Engineering team, driving initiatives that enhance developer experience and accelerate release cycles.
  • Design and build internal tools/platforms that optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, service monitoring tools).
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Advocate best practices around continuous delivery, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Promote team's work internally (workshops, training, cross-team adoption) and externally (conferences, blogs, open-source contributions).
  • Mentor engineers, foster innovation, and cultivate a culture of experimentation and learning.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, Infrastructure as Code.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.
  • Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java (Go preferred for tooling/frameworks).
  • Experience designing ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools.
  • A proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross-functional stakeholders.
