Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Software Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems that meet customer needs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement system testbeds using various networking devices and servers.
  • Conduct QA validation of wireless features, including end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture.
  • Recreate customer issues in a lab environment and work closely with engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Perform performance testing using iPerf.
  • Work closely with the CS team to review customer report defects and enhance test coverage.
  • Create bugs in Jira and track them closely with the Engineering team.
  • Escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence.
  • Train and guide Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer.
  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 protocol standards.
