Finance Manager Job Description

The company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our business. This includes financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to ensure the company's financial health and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize costs.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Business Partnering:
  • Baseline key cost levers and collaborate with leaders to establish benchmarks for assisting in pricing, contract structuring, and margin analysis for large deals.
  • Collaborate with delivery, sales, HR and other teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
Accounting & Compliance:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Spearhead month end, quarter end and year end activities including accruals & monthly analysis on the actuals vs provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and coordinate with auditors for periodic and annual audits.
Cash Flow & Risk Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with practice heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho or similar).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation. Ability to interpret data, generate and communicate insights.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Individual will need to work across time-zones.
