Enterprise Data Architect

A comprehensive understanding of data architecture is crucial to the success of any organization. As a highly experienced Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the application separation program.

About the Role
  • This position involves performing a thorough assessment of existing monolithic data models and designing scalable, domain-aligned target-state data models to support application decoupling and cloud-native service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of existing relational data models, focusing on Oracle-based systems and legacy applications.
  • Identify dependencies, shared schemas, and tightly coupled data entities across business domains.
  • Develop target-state logical and physical data models aligned with microservices and bounded context principles.
  • Design data partitioning, ownership boundaries, and communication patterns (e.g., eventing, API contracts) between microservices.
  • Collaborate with application architects, integration teams, and domain owners to align data models with service boundaries.
  • Provide guidance on data migration, transformation, and reconciliation strategies during the separation process.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, normalization, and performance in target-state models.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Oracle (PL/SQL, schema design, performance tuning).
  • At least 3 years of experience designing data models for microservices or distributed architectures.
