Job Summary:

As a seasoned supply chain professional, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to drive growth, cost savings, and quality improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global markets, commodities, and their impact on business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Develop and implement direct material cost out projects utilizing the Eaton Standard Sourcing Process to achieve cost reduction and project schedule goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Product Management, Operations, and Engineering, to leverage global coordination and drive results.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead projects through a standard process, defining scope and requirements, managing risk planning, user technical reviews, and project multifunctional phase gate reviews.
  • Track status and planning using program management portfolio tools and MS Project.

Qualifications:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience, particularly in direct material sourcing for a global manufacturer, with demonstrated cost-out results.
  • German language fluency (B2 or equivalent) is required to converse with stakeholders.
  • CPP or CPPM Certification.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Buying and Strategic Procurement experience.
  • Strong understanding of key commodities and their impact on the business.
