Sr Design Manager HVAC Job Description

The role of a Sr Design Manager (HVAC) is crucial in the success of our company. We are a renowned home builder with 8 projects, over 4500 custom homes, and 14 million square feet under construction in India.

As a key member of our team, you will design HVAC systems for high-rise residential, commercial, and hospitality projects adhering to ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HVAC System Design: Responsible for designing HVAC systems that meet the requirements of high-rise buildings.
  • Design Process: Oversee the entire HVAC design process from concept to completion.
  • Heating and Cooling Needs: Calculate heating and cooling needs, propose energy-saving designs, and evaluate ventilation requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of heating and cooling systems.
  • Design Documents: Prepare detailed design documents, including concept designs, budget estimates, and shop drawings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience.
  • Software Skills: Working knowledge of Revit and BIM software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
