About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering activities across various instrumentation technologies, including field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and control systems.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategies for instrumentation assets.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Develop and standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Apply knowledge of hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring tasks related to assets.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation maintenance techniques and standardization procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
