Job Opportunity:

As a seasoned data professional, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead our organization's data engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data architecture, excellent communication skills, and experience working with large-scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems using cloud-based technologies such as Azure/AWS Databricks.
  • Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using Python, Scala, Spark, and Pyspark.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing data management systems.
  • Have strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS, with the ability to design and optimize database schemas.
  • Experience with Git version control systems (Github/Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo).
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and design patterns, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Delta Live Tables (DLT) is an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering and architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills in data engineering and software development, with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
