Purpose of the Job

The primary objective of this role is to strategically manage and optimize the flow of finished goods to ensure the correct inventory is available at the right location and time, while balancing inventory levels with backorders and minimizing slow-moving stocks.

About the Role (Key Responsibilities)

  • Review and execute short and medium-term supply optimization from given customer demand and communicate effectively with the organization.
  • Evaluate inventory stocking policies for trade goods down to SKU level, including safety stock levels and order quantities.
  • Monitor On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) metric to assess the quality of the plan.
  • Manage IC-STO operations and track performance metrics.
  • Coordinate the execution of the supply plan with responsible ISC Organization, effectively managing any exceptions related to demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the forecasts.
  • Actively communicate blocked stock situations to the ISC organization.
  • Determine the most suitable inventory replenishment models that balance service, cost, and inventory based on business objectives using Arkieva Inventory Module.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. This involves analyzing demand patterns and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Arkieva master data (plant assignments) relevant for the supply and inventory planning process.
  • Maintain SAP master data (replenishment parameters and Planning rates) relevant for the supply and inventory planning process.
  • This role will be responsible for ensuring process quality in NUSAP (new SKU creation).
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data related to inventory levels and lead times to enable informed decision-making and minimize potential disruptions.
  • Analyze processes for inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation and route optimization if applicable.
  • Manage specific Supply Chain projects to meet budget requirements, project timelines, goals, and business objectives.
