About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced web developer to join our team as a PHP and WordPress specialist. As a web developer, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites using PHP and WordPress.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain databases, write and optimize SQL queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks like WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
