High-Performance ML Software Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Machine Learning software engineer to join our team and collaborate with researchers on building high-performance software addressing novel algorithms.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with researchers to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions. You'll apply your solid software engineering skills to tackle complex problems, leverage your experience to deal with unexpected challenges, and explore innovative research software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with researchers to build high-performance software addressing novel ML research algorithms.
  • Apply solid software engineering skills to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
  • Leverage your experience to deal with unexpected challenges and explore innovative research software solutions.
  • Pave the way to future Machine Learning toolboxes by working with a small team dedicated to advancing ML algorithms and techniques.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expertise in Python programming and tensor operations.
  • Hands-on experience in establishing ML benchmarks (data, models, metrics).
  • Excellent communication skills and readiness to encounter unforeseen challenges and solve them.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Active development in open-source projects.
  • Experience with CUDA programming, High-Performance Computing, and distributed computing.
  • C++ programming skills.
  • MLX experience.
