At Corendon Airlines, we are seeking highly skilled licensed aircraft maintenance engineers to join our Line Station in Chennai, India.

We operate a fleet of Boeing 737NG&MAX aircraft equipped with the latest technology avionics compliant with EASA-OPS standards.

  • As a certified B1, B2 or B1+B2 engineer, you will perform all aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company authorization granted by Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM CAD).
  • You will be responsible for issuing necessary maintenance records and reports (CRS, Technical Log Book, Technical Delay Reports, Daily Status)
  • Aircraft maintenance must be carried out in accordance with up-to-date aircraft manuals and MOE of our EASA Part 145 Organization
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment used for aircraft maintenance are serviceable and calibrated.
  • Verify that all parts used on the aircraft are serviceable and effective.
  • Order necessary components and consumable parts for repairs, defect rectification and scheduled maintenance checks.
  • In some cases, you may be required to join flights for trouble shooting and inflight inspections of aircraft system failures if needed.

Job Qualification:

  • Holder of an EASA Part66 license or a 'Government of India Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License' issued by Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) with B1, B2 or B1+B2 categories.
  • Type ratings of B737NG (CFM56-7) with PART147 or CAR-147 recognized practical and theoretical type training certificates.
  • 6 months active experience within last 2 years period on B737NG (CFM56-7) / B373MAX (Leap-1B) aircraft types. This should be presented as documented by previous company authorizations.
  • Total experience of at least 5 years in an approved maintenance organisation, 3 years of which must be on B737NG (CFM56-7) / B373MAX (Leap-1B) as B1, B2 or B1/B2 certifying staff.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Right to live and work in India.
  • Open to flexible working hours, shifts and duty layovers at other line stations.
  • Living (or willing to relocate) to Chennai.
