**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying materials and mill test certificates during IMIR clearance to ensure compliance with code and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Verify Materials and Certificates: Verify materials and mill test certificates during IMIR clearance to ensure compliance with code and company standards.
  • Welding Procedure Qualification Tests: Conduct welding procedure qualification tests and maintain procedure qualification records (PQR) for structural, tank, and piping works.
  • Prepare Welding Specifications: Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications and conduct qualification tests as per site requirements.
  • Verify Consumables and Conduct Tests: Verify welding consumables (BTCs) and conduct necessary qualification tests at site.
  • Prepare Job Procedures and ITPs: Prepare job procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for structural, piping, and tank works.
  • Site Audits and Inspections: Perform periodical site internal audits and visually inspect fit-ups and welded joints for structural, tank, and piping works.
  • Surveillance Checks: Conduct surveillance checks before, during, and after welding processes.
  • NDT Inspections: Execute all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections and maintain detailed inspection records.
  • Customer Coordination: Coordinate with the customer for daily inspection activities.
  • Piping Test Packages: Prepare and review piping test packages, verify site work, and address pending punch points.
  • Witness Hydrotests: Witness hydrotests for tank and piping systems.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in welding and inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
