We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Edge Engineering team.

About the Role

This is a critical mission role that involves ensuring the health, performance, and capacity of our complex web-scale systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on building the next generation of edge technologies from design through production issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our Internet-facing services.
  • Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications.
  • Assist in the roll-out and ramp up of new product features and technologies to facilitate rapid iteration and constant growth.
  • Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
  • Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems.
  • 5+ years experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby etc.
