Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to manage and enhance our websites. The ideal candidate will ensure our sites are updated, optimized, and aligned with business goals while providing a seamless user experience.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating website content, designing and developing new pages, landing pages, and microsites, customizing and managing WordPress themes, templates, and plugins, ensuring websites are mobile-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, implementing SEO best practices, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.

  • Maintain and update website content (blogs, events, podcasts, resources).
  • Design and develop new pages, landing pages, and microsites.
  • Customize and manage WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, secure, and optimized for speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Implement SEO best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (front-end & back end).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi, or similar).
  • Strong design sense and ability to translate mockups into functional pages.
  • Familiarity with plugins, integrations, and analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills would be advantageous:

  • Experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of CRM or marketing integrations (Zoho, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Prior experience managing websites for events or professional services.
