Video Editor Position

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the creation of engaging video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing long-form and short-form videos, with experience in films, short films, or documentaries.

The role involves shaping our visual narrative, ensuring that every piece aligns with our brand and communicates our mission effectively. Key responsibilities include video editing and post-production, motion graphics and animation, graphic design and visual assets, trend awareness and creative adaptability, and flexible creative support.

  • Edit engaging content across formats for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with the content and production team to bring stories to life through video.
  • Execute seamless transitions, sound syncing, and pacing to retain viewer attention.
  • Handle post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Integrate text overlays, music, SFX, and B-roll to enrich storytelling.
  • Maintain consistent visual identity and align with our evolving brand tone.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design custom animations: intros/outros, lower-thirds, animated transitions, and dynamic overlays.
  • Use motion graphics to reinforce messaging and elevate the final creative output.
  • Contribute to animated explainers, reels, social teasers, and other formats when required.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Create on-brand static creatives for events, campaigns, paid ads, and social media.
  • Design engaging thumbnails and covers that drive clicks and clarity.
  • Develop responsive YouTube channel assets, banners, and layout elements for both desktop and mobile.
  • Support marketing, branding, or product teams with visual content as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Abode After Effects, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video editing.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in crafting visually appealing and engaging videos.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in video editing, particularly in short films, long-form content, or documentaries.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work, including both short and long formats.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to tight deadlines.
