Business Tax Reviewer

Job Summary:

The Business Tax Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing and filing corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate should have experience of at least 5 tax seasons in a similar or equivalent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and file corporate tax returns (Form 1065, 1120, 1120s)
  • Conduct research on complex tax topics on a case-to-case basis
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in major tax laws and regulations
  • Draft replies to tax notices and compile required documents
  • Prepare and file 1099 forms for accounting clients
  • Develop systems and processes to enhance tax department operations

Required Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills, and good people management skills.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must have a thorough understanding of US tax laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
