About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering professional to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems that drive business intelligence and analytics.

Your primary focus will be on architecting and implementing scalable and robust data pipelines that collect, process, and store vast amounts of structured and unstructured data.

In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our client's Databricks solution.

  • Design and develop data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage solutions that support advanced analytics and reporting needs.
  • Ongoing optimization of data architectures and workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaboration with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure that data systems meet their needs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices in data governance and management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with a focus on large-scale data systems.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks and data pipeline orchestration.
