Job Title: Web Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned web development manager to lead our team of skilled developers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of web development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams of developers and project managers.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, from requirement gathering to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team.
  • Manage resources, timelines, and communication between internal teams and external clients.
  • Utilize project management methodologies (preferably PMP) to track deliverables, manage risks, and drive efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with expertise in PHP and WordPress. They should also possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment is a plus. Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) is also desirable.
