Job Position: Python QA Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python QA Automation Specialist to spearhead software testing and automation initiatives.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional background in software quality assurance, with in-depth knowledge of Python and proficiency in test case authoring and tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project requirements (stories) in conjunction with the development team to identify comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain accurate test cases for seamless tracking and execution.
  • Carry out performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing with precision.
  • Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders to execute test cases efficiently.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies with due diligence.
  • Identify potential risks to projects and develop strategic plans to mitigate them, escalating critical issues in a timely manner to ensure informed stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API (REST services) & UI testing using Selenium.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python or any automation script.
  • Familiarity with tools used throughout the QA life cycle, including bug-tracking and test management.
  • A strong work ethic with high levels of self-motivation.
  • Electrical engineering expertise is highly desirable.
  • Prompt willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to explain business requirements.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
