Job Overview

The Senior Data Engineer will be integral to the Data Management team, responsible for crafting and implementing large-scale data architecture processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sophisticated data models for analytics services
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and develop next-generation data platforms
  • Managing data repositories and supporting model-driven development

For this role, we are seeking an experienced professional with 10+ years of experience in hybrid environments that leverage distributed and relational database technologies to support analytics services. They should have a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation in complex environments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing complex dimensional data models
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to design and develop next-generation data platforms
  • Managing data modeling repositories and supporting model-driven development
  • Defining and governing data modeling/design standards, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies

Requirements:

  • Experience in Entity-Relational, Data Vault, and Dimensional Data modeling
  • Proficient in using tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, Enterprise Architect, and PowerDesigner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in hybrid data environments
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data architectures
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation
