Quality Assurance Professional Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Professional to oversee and advance our high-quality standards.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring processes and outputs meet stringent internal and international specifications. This includes conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections as well as managing and resolving customer complaints by leading root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Product Quality Control: Conduct thorough examinations of products throughout the production process to guarantee compliance with established quality standards.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, utilizing effective RCA techniques to identify causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test certificates, and quality records.
  • Quality Management System Implementation: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of ISO 9001 and other relevant management systems to ensure seamless integration into our organization's operations.
  • Compliance: Verify that all products and processes adhere to relevant ASME, DIN/EN, and VDI standards, ensuring our organization remains compliant with industry regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and internal audit experience.
  • Proven ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Familiarity with measuring and inspection instruments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Bonus point: Familiarity with international standards like ASME, DIN, or VDI.
