Operating Theatre Nurse Opportunity

We are a boutique Obstetrics & Gynecology hospital located in central Chennai, focusing on delivering quality care to women of all ages.

This role is for a full-time on-site Operating Theatre Nurse, situated in Chennai at our hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons during surgeries, and ensuring the sterility and functionality of medical instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing operating rooms and ensuring they are equipped with necessary medical instruments
  • Assisting surgeons during surgical procedures and providing postoperative care
  • Maintaining sterility and functionality of medical instruments
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and administering medications as required
  • Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and effective operating environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Experience in perioperative nursing, surgical procedures, and patient care
  • Skills in maintaining sterility and functionality of medical instruments
  • Ability to monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with other healthcare professionals
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
