Job Description

At Ginger Webs Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP and Node.js Developer to join our dynamic product development team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both backend and frontend technologies and will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development:
    • Build and maintain server-side logic using PHP and Node.js.
    • Design and develop APIs, microservices, and RESTful services.
    • Manage data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Frontend Development:
    • Work with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
    • Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration.
  • Architecture & Performance:
    • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
    • Develop efficient, reusable, and scalable code.
    • Participate in architecture and design discussions to deliver high-performance applications.
  • Database Management:
    • Develop and maintain efficient database structures using MySQL and NoSQL databases.
    • Write complex queries, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Code Review & Collaboration:
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
  • Testing & Debugging:
    • Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
    • Write and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Version Control:
    • Work with Git for version control and collaborate on repositories with the team.
  • Cloud & Deployment:
    • Deploy applications to cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Languages: PHP (Laravel, Symfony), Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js).
  • Frontend Technologies: JavaScript (React.js, Vue.js, Angular), HTML, CSS.
  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), Azure (optional).
  • Additional Skills: RESTful APIs, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes (optional).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-8 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Node.js development.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
