Job Description

As a seasoned Data Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development and maintenance of robust data pipelines and platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data infrastructure, enabling us to deliver high-quality healthcare solutions.

Key responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams to provide end-to-end solutions, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and directing projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.

You will also be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Additionally, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects, collaborating with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role, with a strong technical background in computer science or related field.
  • 8-10+ years' proven growth journey from a developer to a lead role in fast-paced IT product companies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and drive engineering efforts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services, as well as knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
