About the Role
Tachyon is a Cloud Native, Cloud Agnostic, API-first core accounting system that powers various assets and liabilities products, focusing on retail and corporate banking. You'll work closely with our leadership and product team to define, build, and scale products like credit cards, core accounting, and digital payments.

Responsibilities
  1. Research existing demand and explore the problem space through viability, feasibility, usability, customer empathy, and ethical assumptions.
  2. Get early and often feedback, often co-designing with customers or prospects.
  3. Map solutions to specific opportunities.
  4. Apply user science, analytics, and business acumen to identify customer and user problems.
  5. Apply the lens of strategy, user goals, and Tachyon's purpose to prioritize problems to solve.
  6. Evaluate and communicate the product plan.
  7. Apply low-fidelity design to present vision for solutions to problems.
  8. Collaborate with engineers and designers to arrive at detailed solutions to problems.
  9. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand and eliminate obstacles to adoption and usage.
  10. Work with Marketing to bring new features to life on various communication touch points.
  11. Own the roadmap for one or more parts of the product.
  12. Work with engineering and design to plan launch scope. Together with engineering and design, break down scope into launch iterations.
  13. Design a customer feedback loop and optimism for customer and business success metrics.
  14. Decide what features to change and prioritize iterations based on ROI.
  15. Execute strategies that drive measurable growth in adoption and engagement.

Skills
  1. Functional understanding of prepaid issuance domain.
  2. Proficient knowledge in working with RESTful APIs.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the prepaid services space.
  4. Strong feature prioritization acumen.
  5. Proven track record in defining the product roadmap and owning its execution.
  6. Work closely with the engineering team on technology development and deployment.
  7. Experience with agile product development methodologies and product management tools.

Experience and Qualifications
  1. 4+ years of experience in product management, especially in core banking/accounting elements.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
