Job Summary

As a seasoned Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end test suites using Playwright/Selenium preferably in a BDD approach.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Create automation test suites that cover all aspects of our applications ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Develop scalable and highly available Restful APIs/Microservices using JavaScript technologies with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement automation testing techniques and tools e.g., Cucumber/Appium/Selenium/Playwright.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues impacting project timelines and quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise
  • Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end development frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in API gateway integrations (3Scale) and single-sign-on/token-based authentication (Rest/JWT/oAuth).
  • Hands-on experience with task/message queues (AWS/Microsoft Azure/Pushpin/Kafka).
