Portfolio Risk Manager

We are seeking a Portfolio Risk Manager to oversee the end-to-end credit underwriting and monitoring of personal loans through digital journeys. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies for credit underwriting based on different product constructs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Policy Development: Develop policies for credit underwriting using data-driven approaches and validate performance against current portfolios.
  2. Collaborate with Data Science teams to analyze underwriting models, track portfolio profitability, and identify high-risk segments.
  3. Establish performance benchmarks, monitor risk thresholds, and recommend policy changes to Policy Heads.
  4. Automate Credit Policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  5. Determine pricing basis segmentation and standardize policies and processes.
  6. Track delinquent accounts and ensure achievement of company standards/benchmark of delinquency.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance/Statistics/Management from reputable institutions.
  • Qualifications preferred: BTech with MBA.
  • Minimum 7 years experience with 3 – 4 years in risk management and policy creation.
  • Good understanding of risk performance and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets using data processing and statistical tools.
  • Strong analytical approach, team player, and excellent communication skills.
Key Skills:

Data Analytics, Model Validation, Policy Formulation, Portfolio Management, Stake Holder Management, Project Management.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrated experience in R/Python, SQL, Advanced Excel, and strong data analysis capabilities.
