Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled E-Bike Design Engineer to join our team. As an E-Bike Design Expert, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing the world of e-mobility by designing and developing top-quality eBikes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team that refuses to accept the status quo. Our mission is to bring affordable, high-performance eBikes to the Indian market, leveraging local sourcing and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge of Automobile systems & EV related systems, particularly 2-wheelers.
  • Ensure seamless vehicle integration.
  • Manage Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes.
  • Understand and apply complete New Product Development (NPD) cycles.
  • Design and draft parts with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for vehicle systems.
  • Analyze materials and material properties.
  • Translate technical requirements into detailed, robust designs.
  • Comply with CMVR / Homologation requirements.
  • Benchmark and coordinate with suppliers for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA).
Requirements
  • Possess proficiency in SolidWorks, with hands-on experience in Part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts.
  • Have PLM knowledge.
  • Understand HyperMesh & CAE analysis.
Soft Skills
  • Demonstrate strong behavioral skills, including Team Participation, Interpersonal skill, Persuasiveness, Self-disciplined, Conflict resolution, and Communication.
  • Show ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of basic electronics.
