We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

This role involves designing, developing and integrating complex software functions within the aerospace industry. The main objective is to develop, test and integrate robust well-documented embedded software at both high and low levels that interacts directly with hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a global team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in embedded software architecture, design and development in line with FCI development standards.
  • Mentor junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation/information.
  • Perform competitive intelligence and IP analysis. Motivate functional teams in IP creation for products in the field of expertise.
  • Provide technical support for products - field investigation, application support and factory support.
Requirements:
  • B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA - Computer Science/Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
  • Good in-depth technical knowledge of C, C++ and exposure to firmware language programming.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred).
  • Capable in requirement development (High Level SW, Low Level SW Requirements).
  • Capable in oral and written communications.
  • Possess technical knowledge about I/O interfaces like Ethernet, A429, RS-232, A615A Data loading.
  • Possess analytical and debugging skills on Real target hardware, hands-on experience an advantage.
Desirable Skills:
  • Exposure to Datalink/EGPWF concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability in software development for avionic systems, DO-178B/C process.
  • Exposure to Multithreading/Multicore processing.
  • Exposure to requirement management tools such as DOORS.
  • Exposure to Configuration management like CC/CQ JIRA/Bitbucket/GIT.
  • Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like JIRA/Bitbucket (Atlassian Tool set).
Education:
  • UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization.
  • PG: M.Tech in Any Specialization, MCA in Computers.
