About Business Analyst - Data Insights

The Business Analyst - Data Insights role in our Operations team is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and reporting data to support business decisions. This involves data management, process optimization, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of information systems within the operations function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data from various sources.
    • Create, maintain, and update operational dashboards and reports.
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for the operations team.
    • Identify trends, anomalies, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • System Administration:
    • Manage and maintain MIS tools and software.
    • Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot issues within the MIS framework.
    • Coordinate with IT teams for system upgrades, patches, and technical support.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve data flow and reporting accuracy.
    • Automate routine reporting tasks to enhance productivity.
  • Collaboration:
    • Liaise with various departments to gather relevant data.
    • Work closely with the operations team to address their data requirements.
    • Provide training and support to team members on MIS tools and systems.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and data protection regulations.
    • Document all MIS processes, protocols, and reports for reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (SQL knowledge preferred).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Estimated Salary: ₹900,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum
