Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a collaborative work environment.

This leadership role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the SRE team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic alignment with business goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a remote team of Site Reliability Engineers, focusing on organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Oversee incident management, technical support, infrastructure maintenance, and team operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve platform performance.
  • Maintain key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the team utilizes the latest tools and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ Years of experience managing technical teams, preferably in SRE, DevOps, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in cloud computing and infrastructure management, particularly with Linux-based systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in remote environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AWS certification.
  • Experience leading customer-facing technical teams, with a focus on improving service delivery.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and governance in cloud environments.
