Scientific Researcher

Turing is looking for PhD-level researchers in Biology to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs). You'll create Biology problems, analyze model responses, and identify gaps in logic or understanding.

The goal is to measure how well these models handle abstract thinking and structured problem-solving. As a researcher, you will play a crucial role in advancing the field of AI by providing high-quality data and insights.

Key tasks include:

  • Creating Biology problems that challenge LLMs' ability to reason and solve complex problems
  • Reviewing model responses and identifying areas where they struggle with biological concepts

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples
  • Strong written communication skills, especially in remote settings
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Stable computer and internet access
