Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to lead our automated and manual test plans for backend and infrastructure components.

This individual will integrate QA processes within CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices, driving system performance, scalability, and reliability.

A strong understanding of test strategies and automation frameworks for Kubernetes-native applications and microservices is essential.

The ideal candidate will conduct root cause analysis for defects and performance issues, collaborate cross-functionally to drive resolution, and contribute to release readiness by validating deployment strategies in staging and production-like environments.

Monitoring and improving test coverage and QA metrics across the engineering organization is also key to this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

Automation: Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test suites (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, Selenium, etc.).

Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including testing and validating deployments, scaling, and health checks.

DevOps: Strong knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Helm, etc.).

Performance Testing: Experience with performance, load, and stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6).

Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems testing.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Service Mesh: Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

SRE: Background in SRE or performance engineering is a plus.

Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Open-Source Contributions: Contributions to open-source QA, testing, or DevOps projects.
